Sterrebeek, Belgium or a walk around a Belgium hood.

Today we went to Ikea. It was very much like the IKEA in the states. Lots of strange furniture with strange names and Swedish meatballs too.

Then we took a walk around Michelle's neighborhood.

We walked all over this town and laughed so hard! Michelle is hilarious!! I was laughing so hard that I couldn't walk straight! I was staggering like some drunk 😂

So far so Brussels!

Arrived safe and I hope sound. Michelle waited for me and I waited for Michelle and American cell phones can't find their carrier and so I got to see a bit of the the airport and talked to some very helpful people whose European cell phone carrier worked for them and they called Michelle for me so we eventually found each other!

Oh and here's Michelle's cat, "Dolittle". He likes the book Chelsea snuck into my suitcase (Thank You Chelsea!).

Friendship and Travel

After a twenty eight year hiatus I am going back to Europe! After almost thirty years since we first met in Germany, Michelle and I are reuniting for an adventure that  I could not pass up. What in life is more enriching than friendship and travel and combining those two is the best!
