We'll Always Have Paris

What a city! It's everything I had imagined it would be! Beautiful architecture, beautiful people, cafes, bustling crowds all give this city a pulse like I've never experienced !
Our first stop: a street side cafe for refreshments. It's part of the Paris experience, right?
Meet my first Parisian friend. What can I say, both of us were Phoenicians in Paris!
The cafe was right next to the Arc De Triomphe. (Photo cred goes to Michelle. I was using my other camera) Of course it's a beautiful monument, but driving around it in a taxi was a harrowing experience. There's no lane lines, no street lights and it's being fed by a dozen side streets. Props to anyone who has driven around this circle of death and survived!
I'm not sure but I think Michelle is sniffing my hair. I blame Paris :)
Yep, the Eiffel Tower! (Photo cred goes to Michelle).
Once you get near this beautiful work of art you realize the scope of the ingenuity and work that went into its creation. You also realize how small you are as a person...insignificantly small...ant small.

Michelle and I forgot to bring our Paris map so we kinda "Gumped" our way around. As you can see we found the two tallest structures. We had so much fun just leisurely walking around and enjoying Paris. Today, however, we're going to try to have some structure to our adventures. Translation: we're bringing a map!

  1. What a great post! Such a beautiful place! I can't imagine how cool it must be sitting at a cafe in Paris drinking a beer!
Are the French as rude as they are portrayed in movies?
